Chocolate dipped fruit


  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream-warm
  • fresh fruit of your choice, cut in shapes with cookie cutter






  1. In a double boiler (medium size pan with two inches of water) bring water to simmer
  2. Make sure bubbles are tiny tiny.
  3. Place a heat proof bowl on top of pan, bottom of pan should not touch water
  4. add warm heavy cream
  5. add chocolate chips and stir until melted






A) Sandwich fruit pieces between paper towels to remove excess moisture.

B) Dip fruit into the melted chocolate.

C) Place it on parchment paper and let cool.

D) If in a hurry place inside refrigerator for faster cooling.
