All-Star Tiramisu


                                                                                  How to Make All-Star Tiramisu


  • 1 Lb. Marscapone Cheese
  • 2 egg YOLKS -room temperature & 1/4 c. sugar
  •  1 c. heavy whipping cream, 1 1/2 c. strong brewed coffee
  • 1 Tbsp Rum/Cofee liquour, 25 lady  finger cookies
  • 1/3 c cocoa & 1/3 c powdered sugar
  • Marscapone  Cheese is expensive and hard to find. A nice substitute is 1 pkg cream cheese mixed with 1/2 stick butter.


  1. Use an 8X6 inch container. Dip each lady finger in coffee, a quick dip, and place on bottom of container. One layer of coffee dipped lady fingers.
  2. At medium speed, whip heavy cream until fluffy (4 min)-transfer cream to another plate.
  3. In same bowl, mix 2 egg yolks and sugar until pale in color (2 minutes)
  4. Add HALF whipping cream to egg mixture by folding method (carefully from bottom to the top using a spatula, gently not to disturb fluffiness of heavy cream).
  5. Amazing Tiramisu is ready for assembly. Pour half of Marscapone mixture over lady fingers.
  6. Another layer of lady fingers dipped in coffee, more marscapone cream.
  7. Refrigerate at least 3 hrs. Sprinkle cocoa mixed with powdered sugar before serving.Even better, buy a Hershey’s chocolate bar and do some shavings with a potato peeler. Impressive~
